I'm a Colorado artist enjoying the fruits of my artistic journey. For the past several years, I've been exploring many different media and art forms and it always leads me in new and exciting directions.  My biggest challenge is to avoid going in too many directions! My collection of work is always growing and always changing.   

 

I believe we all have an inner artist waiting to be explored. Retirement for me opened the door to fully engage my desire to paint. Taking a brush to canvas initially was a bit daunting. After completing many classes and exploring and experimenting with different mediums in my studio, I have no fear, only pure joy.  I love acrylics, a tremendously versatile medium, and abstract florals are a favorite theme. Adding texture and depth with ink, pencils, markers, pastels and collage makes every painting a pleasure to create and a fun challenge. Sharing my art with others is icing on the cake!
